Funded research assistantships become available from time to time, and students who bring their own fellowship or scholarship support are also welcome.

Undergraduate Students at UGA
We always welcome motivated UGA undergraduate students who want practical research experience. Students usually join as paid hourly research assistants, though credit-based research and senior design projects are also possible depending on your situation.
How to get involved
Send an email to
yunli.shao@uga.edu with your resume, a short description of what you would like to work on, and roughly how many hours per week you are available. Prior research experience is a plus but not required.
